Dunlop ambassador, Dominika Cibulkova, claimed her first ever professional victory on the WTA Singles Tour , when she won the Kremlin Cup in Russia. The Slovakian defeated Kaia Kanepi, over three sets (3-6 7-6 7-5).
World number seventeen, Cibulkova, who was competing in her second WTA final in two weeks, came back from a set down to secure the win in Moscow. In the deciding set, the 22-year-old broke serve three times to win the set, the match and the $118,000 first prize.
